A Colt Officers Model Target .38 Special with the rare 4 1/2” barrel in the original box along with a Colt factory letter. The gun remains in 97-98% condition with just a couple of small marks. The gun locks up perfectly and the bore is excellent. The finish is original as are the checkered walnut grips. These short barrel pre-war Officers Model Target revolvers are seldom encountered and are very desirable in any collection. This is a 3rd Model Officers Model Target and was shipped to Abercrombie & Fitch Company in New York City on February 20, 1936. I offer a three day non-firing inspection period and always want the buyer to be satisfied with their purchase. The gun will be packed correctly and shipped via FedEx Air with insurance to your FFL dealer in the continental United States for $55 (California is extra because I have to ship through my local dealer). This gun requires a C&R or FFL license for transfer. I ship the following day after the payment arrives and provide tracking information.
