Price reduced to $1995 to get her sold. M1860 Spencer Carbine Original Civil War issue 22" barrel Good bore. Tight action. The barrel ranges from brown to faded blue patina towar reciever and sight . The Spencer markings are abou 60% clear. Serial number is 40098 which I believe is 1863 production. Loading tube functions anf fits tight. Mechanically it all works fine and could be shot today, although I wouldn' do it.. There are various Inspector initials on the metal. No cartouches left. There are different initials scratched into the butt stock on each side with six notches under the handguard which probably mean six kills. Looks like something a Reb might have done, had he captured this gun. . But thats just conjecture. Stock shows a lot of use but is sturdy and no repairs.
Fairly priced at $2195. Less than just about any other one on this sight. USA sales only.
