Peter Gunn and Broderick Crawford both carried one. Mechanically very solid Colt detective special with holster. Perfect timing and lock up. Nice double action pull. Bore is perfect, grips are good with one minor ding next to the left medallion. Rampant colt is very faded. Finish is thin patina in bright light. Not the best cosmetically but as good as any Colt DA in terms of function. Great shooter or under the seat of the truck revolver. Priced to sell under market value. At this price you can leave it as is, or have it refinished. Plenty of photos upon request.
