Savage model 99H in 303 Savage.Built in 1916,this rifle is in outstanding original condition.It has a 20" barrel with a mint bore.The rifle retains 95% of the original blue finish and 98% of the original wood finish.The wood is sound with no cracks or damage.The rear sight is the original Savage adjustable sight and the receiver has not been drilled and tapped.The lever still retains 50% of the case colors.The buttplate is the indian head bakelite buttplate.This is a fine original 99 that would make a great addition to any collection or an excellent classic big game rifle for the hunter who likes the challenge of shooting open sights.C&R eligible.
