"British Pattern 1897 Infantry Officers Sword. Royal Engineers marked circa 1910’s-1930’s. Guard shell has the royal cypher of King George the V. Blade is approximately 32" with Royal Engineer’s coat of arms, motto: Ubique and Quo Fas et Gloria Ducunt (Everywhere Whither Right and Glory Lead) and King George’s royal cypher. Ricasso is marked “Hawkes and Co 14 Piccadilly London W". Very good condition overall.
