Description:
This Colt was Produced in 1951. This pistol's serial number is 248221-C. It is the standard government model chambered for the 45 A.C.P. cartridge. This pistol is in near new condition. There is very little sign of ever being fired. The bore is bright and minty. The recoil face retains almost all of the original finish. The hammer shows hardly any wear to the blued surface from the slide. The barrel ejection port shows no rubbing from the slide from firing. The barrel tube shows no blue loss. The frame and slide flat surfaces have the high polish finish. The other surfaces have the no glare finish. There is a very small speck of blue loss on the right side of the slide near the muzzle. That is the only real blue loss on this pistol. The bluing would rate a 98% overall condition. The [Pony] grips are original to this pistol. They did not shrink or crack through the years. These grips are in excellent condition with the nice chocolate finish. There has been no alterations or add ons done to this Colt. The magazine is an original period Colt magazine. This is a stunning condition 1950's era Colt that would make any Colt collector happy to have in their collection! Search for hlvfineguns on google for more details.
