*** SOLD *** Handsome AyA Model 53 in 20 gauge with two sets of barrels. Beautiful case-colored and elaborately engraved action with hand detachable sidelocks, hidden third fastener for volume shooting, side clips, disc set strikers, articulated front trigger, rolled edge trigger guard, and automatic safety. Cased in a beautiful Spanish fitted leather case with maker’s label. Also comes with spare parts kit including strikers and springs. Easy to carry at 6lb 20z. *** The two sets of barrels are 26” in length and are chambered for 2-3/4” cartridges. They are topped by a raised solid concave game style rib. The barrels show a nice patina in the bluing with several minor wear marks. The No. 1 set of barrels is choked Improved Cylinder and Improved Cylinder. Perfect for upland game like quail, grouse, and woodcock. The No. 2 set of barrels is bored Improved Cylinder and Improved Modified making it a great double for doves and pheasants. *** The straight grip stock and generous splinter forearm are made from nicely figured European walnut with a leather recoil pad and a blank initial plate. Checkering shows little if any wear. There are a few minor handling marks on the wood. Stock dimensions are 15” over a 1/2” leather pad by 1-1/4” by 2”. Cast off for the righthanded shooter. AyA 53’s are near the top of the line-up for AyA. This is a well made and beautiful double with lots of custom features and cased in a Spanish leather case. Would make a good travel gun with its two set of barrels and spare firing pins and springs. *** I am an FFL and will need a copy of your dealer’s FFL.
