Description: Smith & Wesson Registered Magnum Revolver .357 Magnum caliber S&W registration number #4361 Target trigger, hammer, & rear sight "King" front ramp sight Steer head ivory grips, square bottom "GFS" gold initial inlaid in grip along with gold masonic & shrine emblems embedded with gold steer horns and red eyes (possibly ruby) 3 1/2" barrel Hand matted top of barrel, frame, & trigger (aftermarket trigger) Action is nice and tight Revolver has been buffed out prior to plating as lettering and such partially readable or visible after nickel plating 70-75% plating condition Made in 1939 Has original registration letter and Roy Jinks provenance letter These are very rare and desirable Own a piece of history with a very early .357 Magnum 10.49, "S", and a circle over square stamp on left side of frame under grip, "K" & "B" under right grip on frame (these markings denote factory refinish on date noted) As rare as these revolvers are along with the paperwork, this gun includes the very hard to find cardboard shipping tube for registered magnum paperwork (as much as $350-$400 value alone) Serial number 57660XX SOLD
