Colt --- Model 1883 Shotgun --- 12 Gauge, 2 3/4" Chambers --- Antique. 28" SxS damascus barrels with brass front bead, flat matted rib marked COLTS PT F A MFG CO HARTFORD CT U S A, and doll's head extension, choked skeet & modified.  13 7/8" pull from front trigger to original Colt black composition buttplate. 1 7/8" - 3 3/8" drop. No cast. Figured walnut stocks with horn-inlaid, Deeley-release splinter forend, round knob half-pistol grip, classic point-pattern checkering and vacant nickel-silver initial oval. Border-engraved, casehardened receiver with blued furniture and automatic top tang safety. Weight: 7lbs, 2oz. Antique, built in 1889. All original condition and retaining 20% barrel brown, 20% casehardening colors and 85% blue on toplever and bow of triggerguard. Tight and with mirror-bright bores. Minimum barrel wall thicknesses .017" and .020". Sold as collector's item only.
