Description:
This early Colt SAA appears to have been updated years ago, with a new barrel, cylinder, hammer, trigger, etc. and the frame, trigger guard, and backstrap refinished. At one time you could send your revolver to Colt and they would do this, and very reasonably too! Where or when this one was done we have no idea. Grips are sambar stag and drop dead georgeous - and old. It may not be totally original but it is quite stunning and feels great in the hand.
