The rifle is a WW 11 Springfield M-1 Cal. 30-06 SN 3371070, mfg. Jan 1945. Converted to a USMC sniper rifle, for the Korean War. With a 4 X Kollorgen scope Sn. 14793, barrel dated Sept 51, Leather cheek piece is dated Qct. 52 . Comes with Muzzle Break, and a original M-2 cone flash hider Mfg. by Epirus Mfg. Co. , sling, oiler, & cleaning rods. The muzzle and throat both gage 1, condition is very good - excellent. The serial number range is correct according to Bruce Canfields” Complete Guide to the M-1 Garand,” and the “Standard Catalog of Military Firearms.” Shipping will be by Priority Mail, in a hard case.
