Description:
Collectible Ammo: Six Boxes of Vintage .22 Short: Winchester Lesmok, Peters Filmkote, Western Super-X H.P., J.C. Higgins, Rem Hi-Speed Kleanbore.

A nice assortment of interesting ammo, with no tears, stains, tape, or added marks.  Some were wrapped in cellophane and removed for the photos.

One  two-piece box of Winchester Lesmok K2251.  Nice solid box. It has been opened but no tears or detractions.  The copper cases are tarnished and the bullets look somewhat oxidized.

One Peters No. 2242 Rustless Filmkote.  There's a little wear, mostly to the edges, and a small nick in the top panel near the "TE" in "Peters."  The copper-cased ammo remains factory new.

One Western Super-X hollow point SX22SH.   A very nice box, square, no wrinkles, and only slight wear on the top rear edge.  The ammo remains as factory new.  Based on the end flap and warning, I believe this to be a 1946-1947 vintage box.

One J.C. Higgins No. 300 .  A nice square box with only minimal wear on some of the corners.

Two Remington Hi-Speed Kleanbore No. 1022.  One box contains brass-cased rounds and the other has nickel plated rounds. Both with the distinctive Hi Speed headstamp.   The ammo in both is bright and clean.  The box with the nickel plated rounds has a whitish material on the top panel and left end flap, similar to paint overspray.  It may come off with a gum eraser.  The other box is nicer, with only minor wear on the edges.
