Description:
An early Colt Model 1903 type I from 1907 with the high polish finish. This is the first model that has the longer 4” barrel and the high polish bluing with the fire blue parts. The gun is mechanically perfect with an excellent bore. The action is smooth and the bluing is very good. The is some wear at the muzzle and some edge wear. The front and back strap along with the trigger guard show just about all of the bluing. It has the correct full blue magazine with the seven side holes. The original hard rubber grips are very good and are free from chips and cracks. All the Colt factory frame markings are crisp and clear. It shows a 1903 last patent date. It has a Lyman ivory bead front sight and Lyman double line ivory rear sight (Quite Rare). An above average first model 1903 auto. I offer a three day non-firing inspection period and always want the buyer to be satisfied with their purchase. The gun will be packed correctly and shipped via FedEx Air with insurance to your FFL dealer in the continental United States for $55 (California is extra because I have to ship through my local dealer). This gun requires a C&R or FFL license for transfer. I ship the following day after the payment arrives and provide tracking information.
