Description:
Built in 1949 this fantastic Model 70 is an original Super Grade factory chambered in .22 Hornet and is equipped with the original 24" barrel, standard sights, deluxe checkered walnut stock, factory Super Grade sling swivels and checkered steel butt plate.
The gun is in outstanding all-original condition the metal is exceptional with just the faintest wear at the muzzle ends. The stock is original and has the original finish with just a few incredibly faint handling marks. The floor plate has the "Super Grade" stamp and is in excellent shape with all the blue finish. The butt plate shows some wear and minor patination at the toe. The bore is mint and the rifle functions perfectly. Overall a high condition example of a very tough to find Winchester rifle for the advanced collector.
