Description:
As per Browning owners manual:Manufactured in 1976 as 1 of 1,000 to commemorate the United States bicentennial. The rifle features finely detailed floral scroll engraving at the muzzle on all of the flats but the top, which is fitted with a dovetailed fixed blade sight. The rear sight is adjustable for elevation and is of a semi-buckhorn configuration. The left side of the barrel is marked "MANUFACTURED IN JAPAN-FINISHED IN BELGIUM". The breech end of the barrel features more floral scroll engraving. The coin finished receiver features highly detailed animal scenes of an American bison on the right in a plains scene and an American bald eagle standing on a branch on the left. Both scenes feature circular punch borders and are surrounded by more floral scroll. The lever is similarly engraved. The right scene is signed "L.LAMBERT". Mounted on a fancy Schnabel tip, multi-point checkered forearm and straight grip stock with an engraved blue crescent buttplate. Includes the original box, a hardwood display case with a fitted red velour interior, bicentennial medallion, owners manual, an etched Browning fixed blade knife numbered to the gun, and shipping box.
