Processed on Colt factory order number 9467 and shipped on January 20th, 1941, this gun, serial number 550864, was in a 150 gun order to the Royal Netherlands Indies Ordnance, New York, NY. This pistol was originally shipped with a blue finish, two magazines, and was chambered in .32 ACP caliber. During the 1940's, the Dutch ordered 8,300 of these in 80 shipments for use in the East Indies during World War II. This pistol is in excellent original condition and retains approximately 90% of its original finish. These are very difficult to find with their factory finish intact, as most received a black, paint like finish by the British. Included is the Colt factory letter and a binder with information about the Dutch Contract Colt 1903's.
