Description:
This antique Colt Model 1878 Frontier Six Shooter features double action, blued finish and Colt logo, with black composite bird's head grips and lanyard ring. This revolver has seen use but was well-cared for. Screws have the majority of the fire/nitre blue intact, as does trigger and back of hammer. Grips are excellent. Gun shows high edge holster wear on top of frame, muzzle, cylinder, and grips straps are a grey patina. Still retains 80% + of its original factory blue. Indexes and locks up like new. Fine, clean bore. A really nice .44-40 in hand!
