This Beretta saw use by both German and Italian forces in WW2 and was eventually captured at the end of the war as a war prize. The overall condition of this gun is excellent with only minor holster wear on the front of the slide and a small fade on the top of the barrel. The metal grips are in great condition with no marks on them and sharp markings. There is one small area of surface rust on the hammer. The bore is in excellent condition with sharp rifling and bright walls. The original magazine is in mint condition with no scratches or damage. The most impressive part of the pistol is the original 1945 dated capture paperwork from the U.S Military stating it was taken as a war prize from a captured German prisoner. These guns are hard to find in this condition but especially in this condition with the prestige that the detailed paperwork gives this pistol.
