Beautiful factory engraved Colt Bisley .44 Russian caliber revolver. Made in 1902. Deluxe engraved gun by Colt master engraver William Glahn. 7½” barrel with blued barrel and case-hardened frame. Grips are factory pearl. This gun was originally shipped to J.F. Schmelzer &Sons Arms Company in Kansas City in 1902 and later sent back to the factory for engraving and caliber conversion. This gun is a .44 Russian and S&W Special caliber, one of only two guns known having a 7 ½ barrel. Gun is in near new condition. Accompanying this gun is a factory letter, as well as a letter by noted Colt author R.L. Wilson. Beautiful rare factory engraved Colt Bisley.
