Description:
The model 42 was the first pump action shotgun chambered specifically for the .410 bore. About 164,800 in 4 grades manufactured between 1933 & 1963. This shotgun shows wear in the bluing where the action works, and on edges. At some point in its history was some light surface rust, and the gun is got some brown patina. The serial numbers match, the fore end in in better shape than the buttstock, but both show scratches and marks through the finish. The buttstock has a large chip out of the toe of the stock. Original Winchester composite butt pad with logo.
