Description:
This is a Marlin Model 1889 that has had some very nice upgrades. The stock is high grade walnut (grade V or better) with a checkered S style pistol grip. The forearm is matching checkered walnut with a black cap with a gold wire inlayed. The barrel is a 24 inch octagon with 1 1/2 inch of engraving at the frame and on the rear sights. The receiver has engraving at around 80% and has 4 gold inlays. The lever, hammer, top and sides of the receiver also have very nice gold wire work. The rifle was made in 1890 but is not an antique. (we do not know when the upgrade was done)
