I have for sale a very nice and all original Parker DH #2 frame Pigeon Gun with 32 inch barrels. Serial number is 171867 making this a gun built in 1915. This gun is a straight, English grip gun with splinter forend, and has double triggers. Stock dimensions are 1 3/4 X 1 7/8 X 14 3/4 over a red solid rubber pad. Cast is neutral. Weight of the gun is 8 pounds 3 ounces. As you can see in the pictures there is no safety. Bores in both barrels measure .734 and the right barrel has a constriction of .042 and the left barrel .041 and chambers measure 2 3/4 so indeed this gun is set up for live birds or trap. Has one ivory bead as a sight. All numbers are matching and all finishes are original. Gun is very tight on face with forend removed and barrels ring with a beautiful chime. Gun matches the listing in the Parker serialization book exactly so I have not ordered a letter for it. Screws are just about perfect and top lever well right of center. Looking at the breech face you can see that the gun has not been overused. All engraving is sharp and checkering is still nice. A good amount of original case coloring is still present. Bores on the barrels are beautiful. This is a very honest gun in all regards showing honest wear but no abuse with all original wood and metal finishes. Price of the gun is $6900 plus $75 shipping to your FFL. As always there is a three day non-firing inspection period with the buyer paying shipping charges if returned.
