Description:
Early guns with a "S" prefix are noted for their superior workmanship and finish. This Marlin 39 is chambered in .22 S/L/LR with 24" octagon barrel with tube magazine, open sights, takedown, case hardened receiver and lever. It has an S-shaped pistol grip stock, bluing on barrel, forend tip, magazine tube, bolt, hammer and screws. Approximately 40-50,000 were manufactured from 1922-1938

Metal Condition: Receiver still showing case colors.
Wood Condition: A few chips in the wood on the left side at the receiver, minimal handling marks, some fading to finish on left side of butt stock.
Bore Condition: Clean, bright and shiny. Showing strong rifling.
Barrels: 24" octagon with sights.
Triggers: Single trigger.
Stock: Plain walnut with s-shaped pistol grip.

Fore End: Plain walnut.
