Description:
For Sale is a Winchester Model 1873 lever action rifle chambered in .44WCF. This features a color casehardened receiver, octagon barrel, full-length magazine and checkered pistol grip stock & forend with rifle buttplate. The stocks fit tight to the receiver, show a beautiful grain & clean checkering with no breaks, checks or deep scratches present. There is some color remaining on the receiver with some places taking on a brownish patina. The barrel & magazine have plenty of blue remaining with some wear as shown. The rifle was received in the warehouse on December 28, 1886 and shipped on December 29, 1886. More photos are available upon request and a factory letter will accompany the rifle.
