Description:
This looks to be an early Colt model 1911 in .45 ACP. The frame has been buffed and most of the stampings on the frame are gone. With that being said. There is a G stamp on the left front of the trigger guard (Government order). The hammer has been buffed but is was cross hatch checkered at one time. The serial number shows the pistol was made in 1915. The pistol has been refinished in every way and it has a new set of grips. If you are looking for a good looking shooter this would work well for you.
