This is a 1911 A1 RIG, Pistol was Commissioned 1 1/2 months after Pearl Harbor, This serial number 757423 was made in the first run from Colt in 1942 serial # 756734 to 793733, Pistol in in 98% to 99% Original condition with all the correct stampings, WB on the left side of the frame
Col. Waldemar S. Broberg, US + S " P" proof markings on the left side of the frame and on the top of the slide & barrel, very light hit on the
" Verified Proof " VP in the triangle, " W " Colt final inspector's mark, on the right side trigger guard, On the right side trigger guard Number code 69 is the person who assembled the pistol, Holster is originl WW II made by Boyt stamped -42- just under name in excellent condition, Canteen & Cup Original in very good condition stamped 1944 on the bottom of canteen, First Aid Kit original 1942 printed on back (E.A. Brown MFG. Co.),
