Abbiatico & Salvinelli --- Excalibur BL Round Action, Two Barrel Set --- 20ga & 28ga, 2 3/4" Chambers. 31 1/2" O/U 20ga barrels with solid flat matted rib, nickel-silver front bead and 7 original Briley choke tubes, numbered I in gold. 28" O/U 28ga barrels with solid flat matted rib, nickel-silver front bead and 5 original Briley choke tubes, numbered II in gold. 14 1/4" Pull from single non-selective trigger to checkered wood butt. 1 5/8" - 2" Drop. 1/2" Cast-off. Highly figured Turkish walnut stocks with Anson-pushbutton-release field forend fitting both barrels, classic point-pattern checkering (wrapping fully under the forend), and engraved gold initial oval. Round-bodied, coin-finished boxlock action, with highly polished removable action group, automatic ejectors, hold-open toplever and manual top tang safety with SAFE inlaid in gold. A&S Deluxe Grade engraving with full coverage fine floral scroll by A Pasolini, and with two mallards in flight on the underside by S Milani. Weights: 6lbs, 9oz as a 20ga; 6lbs, 14oz as a 28ga. Built 2004. 99%+ blue. Some light scratches in the stock. Tight, and with excellent bores. In custom Nizzoli leather trunk case with papers, cleaning accessories, cloth component pouches, and A&S maker's label.
