These early 1990's Norinco Mak-90 Sporter's are some of the finest AK's ever made in any country. They have a beautiful commercial-quality blue factory finish, chrome-lined bore, and a very nice thumbhole hardwood stock set. The fit and finish and quality of materials used in their construction is excellent, and these Norinco's quickly earned a reputation for being extremely reliable, accurate, and a blast to shoot. This particular example was made in 1994 and has a square-cut receiver, is all-original, all-matching, and is UNFIRED. The gloss blue factory finish rates 97 to 98%, with the only deductions coming from some very minor handling marks and a little rust on the lower sling swivel. As you can see from the pictures, it is a beautiful example and is looks like-new overall. The bolt face and internals in this Mak-90 are like-new, and show no mechanical wear whatsoever. They are just as pristine as the exterior, with a perfect minty gas piston. The bore is perfect in this Mak-90, chrome-lined with sharp and clean rifling. There are no visible imperfections of any kind. The factory original stock set is also in excellent, like-new condition, free from any cracks, chips, wear, or repairs. The factory installed recoil pad is intact and in excellent condition. All of the controls on this Mak-90 are in perfect working order, and the bolt slams home with authority. This Norinco will function 100% like the day it left the factory. This Mak-90 comes complete with the original Styrofoam box inserts (outer cardboard box is gone), owner's manual, cleaning kit, cleaning rod, oil bottle, military sling, and 3- 5rd factory magazines. If you have been looking for a true "collector grade" Norinco Mak-90 for your collection it would be nearly impossible to find a nicer example than this one!
