This is a beautiful all-original and all-stamped matching Mosin Nagant M38 Carbine made by the Izhevsk Armaments Factory during WW2 in 1944. This little carbine has some spectacular original blue finish on all of the metal parts and an excellent bright bore. As mentioned earlier, all of the numbered parts are stamped-matching from the factory, not electro-pencil matched during a rebuild. This M38 has a solid hardwood 2-piece buttstock and a solid handguard. The original stock set is in great shape overall free from any major damage, wear, or repairs, and only shows minor handling marks. All of the stock hardware appears to be intact, original, and in very good condition. All of the controls on this Izhevsk are in perfect working order, and the action is smooth when worked by hand and locks up tight into battery. It is not too often that we encounter these Mosin Nagant M38 carbines in such nice condition, and it's even rarer to find one with all stamped serial numbered parts that match. All of these Mosin Nagant carbines manufactured during World War 2 have proven to be excellent long-term investments and seem to go up in value every year.
