This is the perfect centerfire youth rifle to get your youngster into hunting/shooting. This is a 2014 Ruger M77 Hawkeye Stainless rifle chambered in .223 Remington in like-new condition complete with a Redfield 3-9X40 Wideview scope mounted on stainless steel Ruger factory rings. This rifle features a 16.5 inch barrel with no iron sights and a green/gray laminate stock. The length of pull is 12.5" inches to the end of the factory-installed recoil pad. A compact and light rifle, the M77 is well known for being extremely tough and reliable. The stainless steel construction and laminate stock make this little rifle very low maintenance and all-weather. The condition of this rifle is superb. It has likely been fired a handfull of times at most with the finish and bore remaining in excellent condition. The stock is also in excellent condition and free from any cracks, repairs, or imperfections. The controls on this rifle work 100% like the day it left Ruger's factory. The action is smooth and tight, and the trigger is very good, breaking with light pressure with no grittiness or slop. The .223 chambering is ideal for a youngster or recoil sensitive shooter. With the abundance of surplus .223 ammo available in addition to the multiple factory loadings, this rifle could be shot a lot without racking up an expensive ammunition bill. This M77 Hawkeye comes with a stainless steel finish Redfield "Wideview" 3-9X40 variable power scope that is just as nice as the rifle. The optics are bright and clear, and the windage and elevation adjustments are in perfect working order. This scope has a "Duplex" reticle and is mounted up on factory Ruger stainless rings. This little rifle also comes with a blacksling that is not pictured. This handsome youth model Hawkeye is ready to go, all the new owner needs to do is set the "zero" on the scope.
