Offering my inheritance of 167Yrs of age..hence the 'AS-IS'. It operates snugly and efficiently. Excellent wood-NO fractures... Excellent metal. NO Pitting. True carbine length. Sharp-Clean shiny 3 Lands Bore..NO Pitting of ANY consequence..! This is the early carbine of 1852 due to the side lever latch/keeper by forearm..! 1853's were slightly different..in this area. .52cal. Fractured rear sight(common)..can be easily repaired. All the information posted was learned from other offerings as I am NOT very familiar with antique firearms. In viewing other early Sharps Carbines.this one has NOT seen much use..but obvious care...there is NO provenance i know of..NO FFL etc. required to own this. S&H=$60.00 due to increases in shipping costs..ConUSA ONLY.! No Calif. sales.Personal check will hold shipping till clears my Bank..otherwise Postal M.O. for speedy receiving.
