Description:
This is a nice 19th century Ernst Strassel cape gun. The caliber is 16 Ga. next to an unknown 11mm rifle barrel. The receiver is a nicely engraved round body with back action locks and under lever. The stock and fore arm are walnut and checkered. There are some handling marks on the stock. The 28-1/2” Damascus barrels have very good bores. The gun comes with a scope marked “Voigtlander, Braunschweig, 3X”
