U.S.M.C. Ka-Bar Knife with 1943 dated Boyt Sheath. The knife was owned/issued to United States Marine Corp. Sgt. Maj. Thodore H. Hughes and the blade is stamped "THEODORE H. HUGHES" AND "263733 USMC" on the right side of the blade. The knife is in used but not abused condition and the sheath is in same, with assorted handling marks, but no cracks or tears. Included with the knife and sheath is a binder full of pictures, personal items, and original orders that Sgt. Maj. Hughes had received, from 1950 to 1968. Those dated in the 1960's were orders to proceed to Vietnam, right at the height of the Vietnam conflict. Pictured is a small sample of orders Sgt. Maj. Thodore H. Hughes received.
