Description:
Sako model L579 Forester .243 Winchester, 24 inch varmint weight barrel. The bore is bright with strong rifling. Action blue has turned to a plumb purple finish with a few light scratches. None are through the finish. The barrel shows some wear and light patina, with some blue thinning at the muzzle end. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock and raised cheek piece with bench rest style checkered fore end. The stock and fore end have some light dings, dents, and scratches though none are through the finish.
