Beautiful condition for a rare naval pistol. The gun retains about 98% of the original factory blued finish. The little loss there is, is from sharp edge silvering and a small surface stain on the left side of the slide from a holster. There are no, pinpricks or scratches or rub marks anywhere. The barrel, frame and slide all match. The front right side of the slide and trigger guard are stamped Eagle/N. The front grip strap which has not started tone is stamped with the large Kreigsmarine Eagle/M.
The wooden grips which usually have their forward tips broken are in super condition except for a tiny surface dent on the right panel. There are no splits or missing chips. The grip screws are undamaged. The bore is just super like the rest of this rarity, mirror bright and razor sharp rifling. Not a touch of frost anywhere. It comes with one original Mauser Banner stamped magazine. A really rare find especially in this condition and a great opportunity for the investor/collector and certainly well below the market.
