Jean Tanazacq TRONCAY 2 (Bowie type) differs from the TRONCAY 1 only in the shape at the point or tip which is convex as to present a clear path that opens an animal to the return. After the model TRONCAY 1, it is the most manufactured model as being known of universal use for hunting. Strong, well in hand, neither too long or too short, it can contribute to skin a small or big game. The TRONCAY 2 requires a little more fingering at the time of opening, thus avoiding to pierce the viscera because of its engaging trajectory. With the same characteristics as seen on the model TRONCAY 1, it possesses the famous curved counter-cutting or false edge which is concave in its final shape, immortalized by Jim Bowie, more penetrating but more fragile than the lanceolate point as seen on the TRONCAY 1. All the knives from the Troncay's family have a hidden tang, the same gorgeous walnut handle shape which is slightly curved, a solid brass guard and brass butt cap. May 3, 2019 production.
