Jean Tanazcaq model TRONCAY IV : With its straight back, its point or tip completely out of the way, its shorter blade this stocky/chunky knife offers amazing handling capabilities when held with a solidity capable of many tasks. This particular model has the vocation of an after-hunt with its very strong tip which is best suited for archers and bow hunters who needs to retrieve arrows stuck in trees. Hunting is also: skinning, opening, finish off an animal with the full respect of any game that is being offered to anyone. The hunting ethic wants us to take responsibility until the end. Knife has a gorgeous walnut handle that is slightly curved, a solid single brass guard, matchng solid brass butt cap, extra heavy-dury high quality brown leather scabbard whose construction is outstanding and extremely strong, yet, offers one of the most beautifully handcrafted scabbard you'll ever seen in today's market; as with any of Tanazacq handmade leatherwork. Incidentally, this particular model is the "companion" to the model TRONCAY 2 listed elsewhere as both knives were made within a week . The particularity of such is that the gorgeous and so preeety walnut handle came from the same block as they are a perfect match. These are by far the most stunning walnut handles I have ever seen to date. May 10, 2019 production. This is TRONCAY 1 not IV!
