Description:
Harold Corby astonishing "YENZER" Bowie engraved by world-class Master engraver Ron Skaggs with grade A center cut elephant ivory handle. I am the original owner ( knife was ordered at the 1981 New York Custom Knife Show held at the Roosevelt Hotel in NYC and delivered on Thursday, May 20, 1982). The large brass double guard and butt cap bears engraving by Corby. This is the exact same knife as seen on page 91 of "THE GUN DIGEST BOOK OF KNIVES, 1973."The original was made for a gentleman named Yenzer who lived in Miami, Florida. Decades ago, this particular knife was pawned , and as of today its whereabouts are unknown as the knife has never resurfaced in the marketplace. Corby never reproduced it for anyone after he made it for "Yours Truly" (that is the one you are seeing in this listing) making it the second ever made model.  As one might susrmise being the second model ever produced, the handle on my knife is much more pretty that the one seen in the knife depicted in the book, while the ivory  has aged so beautifully it has taken on a creamy color, shade of pink, pure white and light pale yellow, making it one of the most stunning ivory-handled knife you'll ever seen without any cracks or checks which is normally the case with most ivory-handled knives. Also as per my request the name "YENZER" does not appears into the blade, there is much more engraving done on it as opposed to the original. The knife also comes with a provenance letter from Corby,  letter from Mr. Ron Skaggs. The double guard is a combination of brass and Aircraft aluminum turbine steel.   Although I have seen other YENZER I truthfully can say that this model is by far the most spectacular you'll ever see. This model is the best of the very best YENZER Bowie Harold Corby has ever produced.

NOTE: I no longer ship to a P.O.Box, therefore you'll need to provid a currect street address,. As always I offer free shipping ( USPS with tracking number and insurance) to anyone who will be kind enought o buy any knife or knives from me within the Continental United States only. Thank you very much.
