Description:
The Smith & Wesson Model 19 Texas Ranger Commemorative was made in 1973 only, with 8,000 cased with a knife and 2,000 cased without the knife. The Model 19-3 revolvers were fitted with a 4 inch barrel, smooth target grips with Texas Star medallions, smooth target trigger, target hammer, red-ramp front sight, white outline adjustable rear sight, narrowed trigger guard, blue finished, and chambered in .357 Magnum. Also included is a 5 3/4 inch blade Bowie knife with "TEXAS RANGERS 1823-1973" stamped on the right side of the blade and a Texas Rangers Commemorative medallion imbossed into the right side of the wood laminate grips. The gun is unfired, in like new condition, with only a slight drag line on the cylinder. The knife is in as new condition also. The presentation case is in fine condition, retainig most all of its original finish, with assorted handling marks. One of Smith & Wesson's more attractive Commemoratives.
