This is a Colt California Bicentennial .22 Rimfire Scout revolver in the original factory Walnut display case. These commemorative sets were made by Colt in 1969 to celebrate California's Bicentennial (1769-1969). The Colt Scout is unfired and in excellent all-original condition. The factory gold finish rates like-new 99%. The bore is perfect and mirror-bright. The factory smooth hardwood grips are in excellent shape and tight to the gun. The display case is in good shape but the rear of the lid has been repaired. There is a picture provided of this repair in the listing. The interior of the case is in excellent shape, and the black lining in the lid and base is fully intact. The exterior of the display case shows some minor storage and handling marks but the artwork and lettering is still clear and visible. This piece would be a great addition to any Colt collection.
