Wonderful Colt Officers Model Target First Issue in 38 Special from 1911 with the lovely fire blue still covering the sides of the hammer, trigger as well as the screws and pins on the front sight. This target gun exhibits all of the details, fit and finish that made the Colt Pre-War double action renowned for their build and accuracy. The original factory finish has evidence of careful usage and collector type markings associated with a well-cared for 108 year old firearm along with some thinning and areas of loss. The action is crisp, the lock up is tight, the bolt drips ½ way into the grooves on all 6, endshake is absent, and the bore is still quite shiny with strong lands and grooves. There is a 3 day, no-shoot, no disassembly inspection period and the buyer is responsible for cost of shipping both ways if returned.
