Bore appears Exc. with throat gauging at a 3 1/4 (original Factory ‘’HRA 6-54’’ barrel with chamber ‘’in the white’’). This has all the appearances of a mostly correct “HRA’’ Rifle right down to its ‘’HRA’’ marked left rear sight knob! Nice example of the earlier HRA M1 Garand as sold through the ‘’CMP’’ Program. The late walnut stock and walnut hand guard set rates about VG with the stock correctly ‘’Eagle over 3 Stars in Box’’ (National Defense Stamp) Cartouched and ‘’Circle P’’ Proofed. Metal finish rates appx. 95%,. Bore (see above), action/mechanically fine,. The ‘’HRA’’ M1 Garand is one of the harder ones to find today un-restored or Re-Arsenaled.
