This Winchester Model 94 AE Trapper Carbine in .44 Remington Magnum was bought new and put into storage, never once fired since leaving the factory. The lever-action Winchester Model 94 AE (angle eject) Trapper Carbine features a factory gloss blue finish on all of the metal parts, a 16" inch barrel with factory iron sights, a receiver-mounted saddle ring on the left side, a tang-mounted safety (rather than ugly crossbolt), and a smooth American Walnut straight-grip stock set. As mentioned earlier, this particular gun is unfired and would be flat mint if not for being stored in an over-crowded safe which put some dings in the wood. The factory blue finish is clean, bright, and gorgeous, rating 98 to 99%. The bore is pristine in this Winchester with no visible imperfections and perfect sharp rifling. The factory irons sights are in like-new condition as well, fully intact including the rear sight elevator. The factory stock set is in great shape overall but does show some "safe rash" in places. There is certainly no major damage, just some light dings/dents, most of which you really have to be looking closely to find. The worst of the dings is on the left side of the forearm near the barrel band, there is a close-up picture of this area for you to see for yourself. Other than these storage marks the stock is 100% solid, free from any cracks, chips, or repairs, and all of the original stock hardware is intact and in excellent condition. All of the controls on this Trapper are in 100% perfect working order, and the action on this Model 94 is tight and precise. All of the internals of this Trapper are just as clean and free from wear as the exterior, with no mechanical wear whatsoever. This Winchester comes complete with the original box with an intact end-label, the owner's manual / warranty card / paperwork, and the factory screw-in hammer spur (for easy hammer access with optics mounted). Whether you have been looking for one of these cool little Trappers for your collection as an investment or to carry afield as bear "medicine" or to fill the freezer, this .44 Magnum Winchester Model 94 AE Trapper Carbine would be an excellent choice. This is one of the last American-made Trappers ever made by the famous Winchester firm, and they will not be making them here again.
