This is a very nice lightly-used Izhmash Saiga AK Sporter in 7.62x39 caliber. These are well-known for being very well-made, reliable, and accurate. The receiver is much thicker than the standard AK and most of the gas parts and small parts are more substantial as well. Because of these heavy-duty parts these Saiga's are often used as the base gun to build a standard AK off of. This particular Saiga is all-original and has not been altered in any way. It appears to have spent most of it's life in storage and fired very little. The original black factory finish is excellent, showing only some very minor handling and storage marks. The internals are just as clean as the exterior on this Saiga, with almost no visible wear even on the moving parts. All of the controls are in perfect working order, and the action slams home into battery with force. The bore is bright and clean with nice sharp rifling throughout, and the original polymer stock set is in excellent condition without any cracks, chips, or repairs. This Saiga comes with one factory 10-round magazine. If you have been looking for one of these you would be hard-pressed to find a better one than this!
