This is a CMP rifle and came to me just as you see it with all the original CMP documents. Overall good condition, bore looks great, but throat measures 5.5 due to use of boat-tail bullets, and muzzle is 2.5. There is a small repaired crack in the front forearm (see pic) but stock otherwise is sound and has no other cracks or splits, just the normal handling dings. Perfect mechanicals with correct 1953 Korean War Garand parts. Original stock and metal finish.
