EXCELLENT Example in Nickel
Here we present an antique Remington New Model No. 4 Spur Trigger .38 Rimfire Pocket Revolver, made circa 1880 in Ilion, New York. This revolver was designed for defensive carry. It held 5 shots of .38 Rimfire. It would have been a high-quality offering to the civilian market that was filled with many cheaper and inferior alternatives known to collectors today as suicide specials.
The overall condition is excellent. The original nickel finish is 99% intact. The markings are clear and legible. The hard rubber grips are in great shape, showing little to no wear. The bore is sharp and shiny. The action on this revolver is excellent. Here is a mint example of a late 19th Century conceal and carry!
