WW2 BRINGBACK JAPANESE NAGOYA ARSENAL TYPE 99 3RD SERIES 7.7MM RIFLE WITH TYPE 30 BAYONET. Bringback by U.S. Navy Electrician aboard the Liberty ship U.S.S. Dionysus where he acquired the rifle after being stationed off the coast of Tokyo Bay. Have name of GI along with photograph(copy) as we got it directly from son of GI. Rifle has never been fired since nor cleaned up. Has excellent bore and crisp rifling. All matching parts but missing cleaning rod, dustcover, monopod. Mum partially ground off. Some rust(no pitting) here and there that will clean nicely. Honest condition with patina from right after War. Perfect working order. Locks up nice and tight when in battery. Two piece stock solid with NO cracks or hairlines and correct inspector's marks rear of triggerguard. Type 30 bayonet with matching patina scabbard and original false edge(never sharpened) that fits nicely.
