SOLD! For sale is German G33/40 8mm WW2 mountain troop carbine, in excellent condition. This rifle has the desirable 940 first year of production code. The bolt and ramrod is non-matching. Everything else matches to include the stock. Covered with Wehrmacht Waffen stamps. Bore is in good condition and shiny.
This is a good example of an original first year 1940 production G 33/40 Mountain carbine. These carbines were the German version of the Czech VZ33 carbine, that was manufactured on the small ring, light weight 98K Mauser action with a smaller, lighter weight barrel and stock. They were specifically intended for the Mountain troops and were used by other units on a limited basis. This carbine is complete with an original unmarked pebble-grain leather sling and cleaning rod (G43 but not matching). No import marks. Great candidate for vet bring back. Stock has no cracks. Hard to get rare WW2 German mountain Carbine. Ships from my FFL to yours. Buyer pays shipping and insurance.
