This 38 Special Colt was produced in 1938. The pistol's serial number is 625376. It is fitted with a 6 inch heavy target barrel. These heavy barrel pistols are not often seen or requested. That makes this feature very uncommon today. It has the checkered trigger. The top frame and backstrap have the non-glare finish. The front sight is adjustable. The rear sight is also adjustable. This Colt has the real mother of pearl grips with deep set Colt silver medallions. The grips fit perfectly and are in near mint condition. This Colt shows some muzzle wear, high edge cylinder wear and a very light spot of freckling above the grips on the right side. The bore and chambers are minty and bright. The action works perfectly! The factory bluing would rate a 97% overall condition. This is a very stunning Colt with these pearl grips. These grips appear to always have been on this pistol.
