Description:
This Papa Nambu has the Naval Anchor property mark by thr serial number. This pistol was made by Tokyo Gas And Electric. The TGE in circle logo is marked on top of the frame over the chamber. The serial number of this pistol is 2624. It is chambered for the 8 M/M Nambu cartridge. The pistol is all matched serial numbers. The correct magazine is not matched to the pistol. The bore has sharp lands and is in good shooting condition. The springs are strong and the action works very good. The grips have no cracks or chips. The bluing is strong on the frame. As with many of these "Papa" Naval pistols there is some pitting around the grip areas, both front and back. This pistol shows service use and wear. There is no Import stamps on the frame or barrel.The bluing would rate a 75% on the frame. the grip area as stated shows pitting. The original sights are intact. The rear sight works without any issues. This is a very decent condition Naval marked pistol. These "Papa" Nambu"s are not easily found today in this quality of condition. This pistol should make the Military and Nambu collector happy to have in their collections! Search for hlvfineguns on google.
